  1. I am looking for a typical three-dimensional plot of power density, frequency
    and time.

    Pointing me toward any links would be appreciated.

    Also, some of the shareware windows sound programs can do 3d power spectra.
    Soundwave, and cooledit are ones that come to mind.
    I may be wrong.

    import of filtered results?

    Nope, not looked at them recently.
    I would suggest that a google search for
    "power spectrum density" "source code"
    may turn up usefull resuylty.s
