  1. Hi
I am in need of a movable bed for a small camera. The camera will be mounted
on a 2-meter lens an the focus need to be ajusted via a servo system. Any
help and or advice will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Are you gonna build this yourself? If so, there are many types of ball
bearing slides available surplus for lots less than new. Couple that
with a stepper motor with driver and leadscrew and you can have an
accurate positioner cheap. I have seen the slide/stepper/screw combo
for sale asa one unit for less than $50.00. and a stepper driver can
be had for about $30.00. There is step and direction software free on
the web and the chip which takes step and direction is about $8.00. It
will drive directly small stepper motors.
