I accidentally tripped on the HDTV cable which connects playstation to TV, the metal end part which goes into the playstation bent and theres no longer any signal going to the tv. Can it be fixed in any way? If the cable inside is snapped can it be soldered?

Without seeing or testing the cable there is no way to assess the damage, however if you did try to repair it by solding any damaged connections then you'd probably end up with below-par image quality.

HMDI cables (which is what I guess you mean?) are pretty cheap now, around £5 in the UK :)

ok, so I guess the solder material is not as good at conducting the images than the special material inside the cable? Still, £5 is too much, I would prefer to solder it.

Unfortuntely today I was wearing metal boots and accidentally kicked the playstation again and it broken into 2 halves, is there any way i can solder it back together?

Anyway thankyou for advice Ian appreciate.
