Is the distributor formerly known as Pioneer-Standard Electronics still
in business under another name, or are they pushing up daisies? All I
could find was a brief press release from the parent corporation that
the electronics distribution business has been "divested".

If they're dead, any suggestions for a good place to buy Atmel AVRs in
smallish quantities (~100s) and not pay digi-key prices?

Pioneer-Standard got absorbed, either into Arrow or Avnet.

I represent people who buy in small quantities, the local Avnet office
(Portland OR) has been good to me so far, and they carry Atmel.

That's too bad.

Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions on alternatives. :)
