Hi, just wanted to pick up any thoughts on this.
Original fault frame IC (TDA8171) overheating and frame
cramping/stretching as it warmed up- there was slight pincushion distortion
noticable.
Changed the IC- (don't think its a cheap pirate version- but Its not a
Mitsubishi supplied part). Haven't changed any nearby caps- not had problems
with them on this model series, none are leaking or check leaky.
Frame is basically correct but still have the pin cushion/corner correct
problem.
can only get a respectable straight picture when the width is taken up a
long way.
Perhaps it is a slighly dry/faulty cap or could it be the IC version?
