    Hello,
Does anyone know where I might find data sheets and or pinouts for
TV picture tubes , specifically the tube in question is a Philips
A68ESF002X111 made in France probably about 4 years old , Philips Aust.
while helpful were unable to come up with much. There does not seem to be
much info. on any CRT's on the internet.
    Cheers John Ely.

I can't help you specifically, but one thing you could try is to
crossreference the pinout to a known one by checking the list of
adapters for a CRT rejuvenator. For example, this adapter list ...

    http://www.promax.es/pdfs/adap_i.pdf

    .... for this rejuvenator ...

    http://www.promax.es/ing/productos/familias.asp?subfamilia=27

.... specifies adapter A8 for your CRT.

A8 can be used with these CRTs:

I have an Osborne monitor which is a rebadged Philips 4CM8270. The
parts list states that the CRT is an M36KUT23XX22. This CRT uses the
    same A8 adapter as yours.

    The pinout is as follows:
    5 G1
    6 Green K
    7 G2
    8 Red K
    9 Heater 2
    10 Heater 1
    11 Blue K
    12 N/C

You should be able to identify the heater pins by testing for
    continuity between them.

Oops, pin 12 is G4 (Focus).
