    Who is the best producer?

    Thank you and kind regards,

OK, is not the right group to discuss seriously about photovoltaic.....

  3. You might start to ask serious questions first - a typical GIGO problem.

I guess the best one is Sanyo - they have cells which are 10 percent
better than others (HIT has a transparent rear electrode and thus may
use light reflected from the back). They cost 5 percent more for
manufacturing, but they are sold for 15 percent more.

Sorry, my post was not very good: I've read that there are new cells without
    silicium, is that true?
I'm searching informations on this type of cells, who produce that kind of
    cell? Are they really "Silicium-free"?

  5. There are very old cells - some call them leaves ;-)
There are many different materials, such as GaAs - not new either, but
maybe always remaing the material of the future.
Don't know whether you actually look for Si free or just almost Si-free
(thin coating only). Maybe you'd want to check the basics first and then
think once again what you might have read and where this was.
