Phillips PM 3262 unable to switch on

I have an PM 3262 bought in the 80's.
When switching it on I hear the click from a protection unit in the bottom rear. There is also a lamp on this board blinking at about the same rate as the led in front. The led on the front is also blinking and then goes black. If I wait 5 min. the same happens.
If I try again at once nothing happens.
Any tips to what it might be

It's an oscilloscope BTW.

Can you find a schematic or service manual for it?

Yes I have the Complete manual for it.
The lamp blinking is in the focus unit

Sounds like a high voltage is arcing over. Often due to dust or moisture. Can you see any other sparking or corona if you look inside in a dark room?

Can you scan and post the schematic? Or at least the schematic of the high-voltage circuitry and the power supply? It will probably be too large to post in the forum but you can upload it to some online storage site and post a link to it. And tell us the circuit reference of the neon that's blinking.
