Hi.

I'm working on a Philips LTC2810/90 monitor. Periodically one of the
colours disappear shortly. I have replaced the dricer ic and the video
processor ic.
At the moment only the green colour disappear.
When the fault occur the g2 voltage changes as well as the black
current signal from the video driver.
Any clues, please??

Regards Gorm.

The way I would approach this is, to check that the source of the G2
supply is stable. If not, work in that direction. It is possible that
the fault is from the HV multiplier. Also, trace the video path from the
video amplifiers to see if the video levels are changing.

When the fault occur the video signals, black current signal and g2
changes - more or less. The g2 signal is relative stable. Today I
noticed only one colour disappears - either the red, green or blue.
The black current signal from the driver ic should be stable no matter
the video content, but this is not the case.
At the monent we have 3 monitors with the same fault!!
Does anybody know what happened to Philips Communication & Security
Systems? (the maker of the monitor). Their website has disappeared.

Regards Gorm.
