What is wrong with my old 33" CE...
Only channels 1,2 21-73 119,120 are scanned while tuning. I can't now
recieve any cablechannels. Old tunings are in memory, but only noise
is shown. Channel 36 can be tuned(VCR) and it is also shown.

Try doing an autoprogram from the user set-up menu. If this does not work
then the tuner module in the set is most likely defective, and should be
replaced.

Probably the optioncode in the eeprom is not good.
Replace eeprom with the right type for this tv-set, an empty eeprom doesn't
work or readjust optioncode as shown in the manual.

After that modify the eepromcircuit with two zenerdiodes 5V6 from ground to
the sda and scl.
