PG (Pulse Generator) program on the Pentium PC.
PG's Timing is very accurate in FreeBSD, Linux and pure-DOS.
PG can be run in Win98-DOS-BOX, but Timing is not good.
PG does not correspond to WinXP, 2K, and NT.
PG outputs psitive and negative pulse waveforms to parallel_port
simultaneously.(PG's maximum frequency is about 100kHz.)
---
Please download and try from following of your choice.
http://www.geocities.jp/sios_hp/gat_page/software/applications/pg35/
* PG-source-kit: (includes src, include files, makefile and library)
pg35-src-kit.zip (for FreeBSD, Linux and DJGPP)
pg35-src-kit-djgpp.zip (for DJGPP only, need DJGPP)
---
* PG-exe-file:
pg35-bin-freebsd.zip (made in FreeBSD-4.6.2)
pg35-bin-linux.zip (made in Linux-2.4.19)
pg35-bin-djgpp.zip (made in Win98 + DJGPP-V2.03) (*1)
pg35-bin-all.zip (include all OSs above)
note(*1): To run pg35-djgpp.exe, not needed DJGPP
---
Simple documents are in a zip file (readme.txt and pg-pr.txt).
PG is an actual proof of high accurate timing being obtained on PC_Unix.
You might be surprised PG's timing accuracy on PC_Unix.
I am waiting for your opinion about PG.
---
PG follows a GNU LGPL rule and FreeBSD license.
You may create your own timing oriented programs by using PG-source-kit.
Therefore, exe-files are freeware, although the PG-source-kit is shareware.
