Peltier Tile

Could you potentially charge a phone with a peltier tile? There wouldn't be a very dramatic temperature difference across the plates.

I'm mainly interested in how much voltage and current it can output and if that would be enough to charge a phone.

Yes, it is possible. For example, if you generalize your concept, thermoelectirc generation can be used for practical purposes, such as powering the Voyager satellites.

The question is whether it is practical. Do you have any specifics for the device(s) you want to use?

you can indeed use it for this.
the question is why would you?
between the myriad of solar charger, backup batteries, hand turned items, car chargers... its just another item that isn't that effective when shown the others.
