Hi,
I'm using PCF8575 from Texas Instruments for I2C function. After several time of testing, the chip died. It still happened
even after I replaced the chip. Anyone having the same experience? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Shasha,
I welcome you to our forum.

We cannot divine your circuit and possible causes for failure. Please provide a schematic showing the relevant circuit part and the associated voltages and currents. It's especially helpful to know the current consumption of a working chip and a "dead" one. Then we can have a look at the circuit and possible causes for failure.

It also helps quite a bit if you describe the mode of failure more in detail. "The chip died" is very general. What exactly doesn't work anymore? Does it get hot? Do you even see smoke? Is the complete chip silent or do some parts of it still show function?

Yes, as Harald says, please show us the schematic of your circuit. A photo of the construction could help as well. Also please describe the external I/O devices you are connecting to it.
