PCBs in small quantities

Hello,

As The PCB manufacturer I normally use for small quantities are closing
sometime soon for about a month's summer holiday, I thought I'd ask if anyone
knows of a good PCB manufacturer for small quantities and low setting up costs.
I remember reading somewhere back that there's a place in UK that makes 1ft by
2ft PCBs for about £100, but I lost the info.

(require silk screen and single/double sided)

Thanks for any help,

Pete

Look at http://www.eurocircuits.com.
They are in Belgium, and should just end their holidays...

If you Europeans wouldn't close everything for summer holiday and get rid of
those ridiculous labor unions, you could have a decent economy and good
paying jobs for once.
Does Germany still have that rule that most businesses have to close
one day per week?

Even the inns in Bühlertal "closed". The primary one that I stayed at
was "closed" on Wednesday. You could open the main door with your
room key, but no services were available.

There is a rule that you shall not work on sunday.
For some branches, there are exceptions (like hospitals, inns, public
traffic, museums etc., also producing industry that runs the machines
7x24h each week).
Even the inns in Bühlertal "closed". The primary one that I stayed at

Many do close for one day, however. Particularly smaller ones.
Not because they really must (by law), but simply because the employees
working time is limited. And closing a day at weekend would be less
economical...

For low setup costs on 1-10 off s, PCB-pool are hard to beat - they just charge per area, although I
don't know how competitive they are for large PCBs like that.

Thanks for the info,

So far, Eurocircuits seem to work out best for my required quantity of normally
around 20 to 50. But they don't give you the option for more than 50.

I'll check all the links you've provided me with.

Thanks,

Pete

You were talking about small quantities, right?

Eurocircuits is a subsidiary of Europrint, especially for low volumes
and completely automated (hence the low prices).

For quantities above their range, you might look at Europrint directly,
or also at http://www.top-tec-pcb.co.uk.
