Hi everyone :D

I have never designed and ordered a PCB before. I was wondering if I could get some help. Everywhere I looked, the price of a PCB the size of a piece of toast is $130 :( (no components). It is normal for the price to be so high  I would make one, but I really want it to have that nice shiny green or blue surface that only pro manufacturers make.

If I can get some guidance that would be great!

You pay $5 for 3 copies of your board per square inch. IE. $45 dollars for (3) 3" x 3" board.

ExpressPCB will give you 3 copies of a single board 2.5 x 3.8 in only for $51. They are very high quality. And they supply a very easy to use schematic capture and PCB layout program (which locks you into them for manufacturing). I have used them and was very happy with the result.

Please note that there is a high liklihood that you (or anyone else) will make a crucial mistake on your first try, so assume you are going to do 2 iterations, or have a board that is all hacked up with cut traces and extra wires.
