  1. I am looking for some help with a PCB layout. I have a schematic and
I need some help with the layout for it on a PCB. I think it would be
fairly easy...I just dont have a clue when it comes to layouts. So if
there is anyone that can help me that would be great.

For freebie software that allows the whole thing, including PCB fab
    ordering, try:
Use their schematic software; i understand it is easy to "convert"
    from schematic to layout.
Once you are happy withthe PC layout, you can then order boards at a
    rather decent rate.

Have a look at Vutrax which is free up to 256 pins.
The turorial takes you through the whole design process
including schematics, library build, placement, routing
and Printer/Photoplot output. Download (about 10MB) from either (Main UK site) (Central Europe Mirror)
Available for PC based LINUX (Red hat, SuSE, etc)
    and Windows 95, 98, NT 3.51 & 4.0,2000, ME & XP
  4. Try my PCB Design Tutorial you can download from here:
There was also a follow up article in Silicon Chip on how to actually
use the protel AutoTrax PCB Package.

  5. Brandin,

If you expect to have more PCB layouts, you'd better learn to make it
yourself. For a one time design maybe I can help you. Just send me the
schematic and tell me what output you need.
