Hi,

Just wondering what packages for PCB design you recommend. I n the past
I've used eagle (the freeware version) which was fine and also Quickroute 4.
What do you reckon tho these packages. I don't do too much PCB design, just
want something cheap, easy to use and that I can send gerber files to pcb
manufacturers with.

What d you guys think

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards

Colin.

EasyPC is arguably the easiest package to learn:

I used it for years, until Pulsonix came along.

The easiest program I've used so far is Layo1 from a Dutch firm
(www.baas.nl).

Free - Autotrax from Protel. Bottom of page at:
http://www.protel.com/downloads/

This works fine for me and with manufacturers as well. Other componet
libraries are also available. Runs under DOS.
