    Hi

Has anyone any idea what a MO305512 is it looks like as standard three pin transistor in a TO220 package however it is not a 2N3055.

It has been stripped out of a faulty drill speed controller.

Any assistance would be very geatfuly apprecaited.

    Andy.

    How old is this thing?
I found a reference to a Fairchild Device, (That is no longer listed on their website), and a reference for a '3.3V/2.5V/1.8V In-System Programmable Super-FAST High Density PLD.'
My guess would be it's a Fairchild TO-220, but like you, I couldn't easily find any data
    on it.
Good luck getting a line on finding a replacement.

This is possibly a triac. Is it fed with a diac (looks like a diode).

Is it a mains operated device, or a battery operated device?
