Hi
I moved into a house with a 748+ with a 626 keypad
There was an option so that when there is an alarm it dials to a phone
i am trying to see how to re program the number into the system to a
different phone number ( my new number )
the best is to get the manual.
How can i get the programming manual

Is there any one who can help me out here

thanks in advance

John

Sir, this panel cannot effectively call a telephone number such that you
will hear or see anything of value when you pick up the phone. However, it
can be programmed very nicely to dial a pager. It will only display whatever
number has been put in to the account number section followed by a
meaningless string of numbers which is "technospeak" for the panel trying to
report the exact nature of the alarm to a Central Station receiver. However,
the account number on your pager will be enough for you to know that your
alarm has triggered.

You will need the installation programming sheets, the installation manual,
plus the current installer code in the panel to access programming. Paradox
is quite different than most alarm panels and often throws off even trained
installers with no previous experience. However, it is bulletproof equipment
and well worth keeping.

The installation manual will tell you how to default it to factory, assuming
it is not "locked". Even if it is locked, it doesn't hurt to try, and will
do no harm to existing programming. If it's locked, simply nothing
happens...

Where you get programming sheets, I really don't know. The website restricts
access to only those registered companies with the correct password
(fortunately or unfortunately depending upon your point of view....:))
However, the internet being such a wide open medium, I'm sure there will be
someone here who can help you out...

Notice he's posting through Google. I can't imagine why he lost his

Leuck , the above post was not from Goofy. I think Goofs is down for the count.

It was from someone in Florida with a Comcast account.

He's also drastically shortened his "sig" line... His Nextel and
"troll"-free numbers don't show up either. I wonder why that is...

If you are Frankie Boy Olson stay on the line for a Brazilian speaking
prostitute/operater.

Does she *have* to be "Brazillian"??
