  1. Due to the interest in IR-reflecting incandescent lamps, including the
maximum theoretical efficacy, materials used and wavelength range
where the reflecting files are transparent and where they are
reflecting, I have posted an excellent review paper of this subject on
    my Web site.

The paper is Applications of Thin Film Reflecting Coating Technology
to Incandescent Lamps, by Bergman & Parham, 6th International
Symposium on the Science and Technology of Light Sources (LS:6),
    Budapest, August 30 - September 3, 1992.

The link to the paper is:

If you use a dial-up connection, note that the file is about 1.5 MB.

This paper has been posted for the educational use of the members of
this newsgroup. I have included a notice that it may not be posted, in
whole or in part, on any Web site or included in any electronic
    information retrieval system.
