Hello Group,

I have a Panasonic ES8066 Linear Shaverwith a set of NiMH
batteries that are getting weak. My question is: can I buy exact
replacement batteries to fit in this thing or do I have to buy some
tabbed batteries and solder posts on to them to make it fit in the
odd-ball holders that are in this razor. If someone has the p/n's of
these batteries I'd appreciate it. Regards.

I believe the original battery is a Lithium based type, and not a Nicad
based type. To know the pinouts, if there is some charge in the battery, you
can measure this with your meter. My preference would be to get the
original type from the Panasonic parts department, and not mess with this.
If you put the wrong type of battery in your shaver, and there is an
overcharging or dangerous condition, I would not want to be the one using
the shaver!
