  3. Yes, Matsushita. Their other big brand name (Asia only) is "National"
    (not the same as NatSemi).

    Thanks for the tips, Spehro. Other than big names like Sony or Samsung, are
    there "smaller" motherboard manufacturers which are based in Japan or Korea?

  5. I think most of the world's motherboards are supplied by an handful of
    Taiwan-based companies, probably mostly actually assembled in the PRC.
