The auto-matic degauser is intermitant.It stays on displaying a rainbow on
the screen.If you unplug the degauser and manually degause the set its
fine.What's controling the circuit?I can't find a thermister in the
circuit.The green gun in the picture tube is weak.Can anything be done?There
are no drive or screen controls in the set.

Degauss thermistor is in the same physical area as the degauss relay.
Probably a three pin device that is highly suspect in causing your specific
problem. If you can not identify the device it may be a bit wiser to have it
professionally serviced.
