    hey. quick question!
I know of three operational transconductance amplfiers; these are the CA3080, LM13600, and LM13700. However, these have been discontinued, so they're not exactly cheap... are there any modern OTAs? Or do manufacturers not bother with them these days?

Some schematics I have (Thomas Henry schematics, if you were wondering) specify CA3080s in their parts lists. Would a LM13700 suffice? I'm unsure of this due to the LM's 'diode bias' pins, which the CA hasn't got.

    I'd probably start here.
