OT Internet Security, ZoneAlarm

I'm having a problem with ZoneAlarm. I get a message "Page can not be
displayed" whenever I try to access a web page, with ZoneAlarm enabled.
I've gone to the the ZoneAlarm Forum, but frankly, I don't understand
the jargon. My question is this: Is there a good book or other
publication that explains the basics of internet security, and defines
such things as ports, trusted zone, internet zone, protocols, etc., to
a novice?

Have you tried the "search" side of google yet? Like, for example,
what you just typed here - put various combinations of those keywords
in the search box.

There's lots of stuff out there, you just have to learn how to plow
through the chaff to get to the gems.
