Op-amp substitution info needed

not up on IC's i need some in the know to tell me if one could sub a bifet op-amp with a jfet duel opp amp if i just used one of the amps on the jfet?

I cant answer directly, I guess it depends a lot on what the function of the Op-amp is.

would you like to expand a bit on the circuit in question ?

it's in a tone control , the diagram calls for a TL061 BIFET a single op amp which i don't have but i have a LM353 JFET which is a duel op amp is simular .

I work on several bits of gear that have LF353 and TL072 op-amps as preamp / tone
controls

There's prob no real reason why you couldnt mix and match with maybe just slight variations of the values of the surrounding caps and resistors.
Personally I would just try and see how it went for a start. Then do changes if needed
