    Hi all,

    I have been given a question which asks to define;
    a) the slew rate of an Op Amp
    b) the open loop frequency response of an Op Amp

    i have obtained information about the slew rate, but the open loop frequency response is being tricky. can any one give me advice on this one? Is open loop frequency response the same as open loop gain?

    Cheers

    Tom

    I don't dare to try and explain it very well, as my understanding may not be the best. But you might get better results in your research if you substituted freq for bandwidth.

    Think of a Bode plot of the open loop gain. Often simplified as a single number, the Gain-Bandwidth Product.
