I have a question in which I have to compare the specs of two op-amps in a table to text descriptions and match them together.
My question is, one of the descriptions states that the gain is 112dB. I believe this to be Op Amp A, as the description also states the PSRR is 120dB. How do I calculate the gain from the values in the table?
I thought the gain would be:
20log(160000/1). But that yields 104dB.
Thanks.
The table is:
Op Amp A
Voltage Gain
Open loop @ f=100Hz is 160000 V/V
Supply Current
Vcc = 15V 10mA
Input Resistance
200k
Input offset voltage
When Rs = 10k is 2.7mV
input bias current
0.5uA
input offset current
0.2uA
output resistance
Open loop = 150ohm
output current (source)
8mA
output current (sink)
2mA
output swing voltage
PtoP, Vcc +/-15V is -13 to +13 V
unity gain BW
15MHz
PSRR
@ 1kHz 120dB
Total equivalent input noise
1.6 nV/sqrt Hz
slew rate
Vcc = +/- 15V slew rate is 5 V/us
