Hello Ladies and Gents,
Can anyone give me a online supplier for three wire lamp sockets. I
don't mean three way switch sockets, I need wiring access to all three
wires.
Thanks,
Bob

What country? What type of lamps? What type of sockets?
What type of lamps have three contacts other than 3-way
A-line lamps with Edison bases?

Well, a simple Google search using the terms "3-way socket"
turned up multiple vendors. One is:
http://www.azpartsmaster.com/shopazp/Lamp+Parts+-+3-Way+Socket+(E0056).html.
That's just the first I found. I don't have any experience
with this vendor.

You can also get these sockets at Home Deport, Lowes and
your local independent hardware store.

The URL above is not the part I want. I don't want a switch in the socket.
Just a lamp socket with three wires coming out of it.

Tried all .... Lowes, Home depot and Ace hardware as well as two local
electrical suppliers. No Luck.

Sorry - I have never seen a 3-way socket without the switch
and with three wires coming out. The "no switch" part is
easy - just take off the know and use a outer housing from a
non-switched socket. Getting access to the three wires is
more of a problem.

You may want to look at Leviton Model 7070-PG. This is
listed at www.leviton.com as a "2 circuit, 3 terminal socket
for controlling two lamps." It does have extra terminals,
but may not be designed for 3-way lamps.
