Have a look at the specs of an AN5233 or 2N5233. Sometimes the letters are different manufacturers. Also put ‘equivilent’ in your search string.
Vintage-radio forum has the same question as you have. Could be worth a read for an alternative/equivilent device.
Sorry, I don’t have time at the moment to read it.

Look up this fet. ST D10NF10 DPAK/TO252.
It’s what it was replaced with. It might be suitable for you too.

    Hello,

Digikey states the ON5233 is a RF mosfet.
They don't have it on stock, as it is obsolete.
    https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/nxp-usa-inc/ON5233118/ON5233118-ND/2296071
    No specs can be found.
The part seems to be from former NXP now Nexperia.

What will be the application of the mosfet?
When it is in the RF path, you will need a RF mosfet.
If it is only switching almost any mosfet can be used.

yes it does, I saw that the other day and didn't post a link to the datasheet as the circuit above does NOT look like an RF circuit

So there is obviously double use of the markings on some other non-RF devise
