On demand propane hot water heaters

I am presently using a Zodi, 2 bottle (one pound propane each) water heater
for showering. It is acceptable - but not desirable. I would like more
    pressure.

I'm thinking, if I added another 2 bottle water heater, in series, I could
get the desired temperature and pressure.

On the other hand, I could just consider wraping copper tube coils around a
single gas grill burner to increase the temp before it gets to the Zodi.
I'm thinking this may give me the desired pressure and temperature. I want
more than 1 gallon per minute flow at a good hot temp. I want to use a
    regular shower head.

I have plenty of water and pressure. I just don't have the temperature and
pressure I desire and I don't feel like paying another $200/plus for a
second Zodi that is just a burner in a box. I'd rather replace the Zodi
shower with a home built water heater (built with gas grill components and
copper tube coils) and use the old Zodi for washing dishes.

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions - even if it is just to tell me I'm
    in the wrong newsgroup...

Why wouldn't you just use a traditional hot water heater?

It's pretty easy to find used ones for free.
