Olympus 2.1 MP digital camera model:D-510,year:2003 was dropped on the
floor by prior owner's female roomate and the guy gave it to me,upon
troubleshooting I found that the flash leaf switch is broken along
with the lense door lid black plastic on/off round button is broken
not allowing the internal leaf switch to make contact.I also need one
of the lid door ball bearings.
Conclusion:I need the part #'s for those 3 parts so that I can order
them as I contacted Olympus and have not yet received a reply.Thanks.

Hi Sidney...

Greetings from Winnipeg

Photography's my life-long hobby, digital for the
past many years. All Olympus's.

Experience is that parts from Olympus, no matter
how small or inconsequential will invariably cost
more than the camera is worth.

Suggestion is that you write to John,
([email protected]). He's an Oly
repair depot and just may be able to help you
out.

His mother tongue isn't english, so your messages
will be a little confusing, but it's worth a
shot.

Tell him I sent you, it may not help, but won't
hurt either.

Disclaimer: I have no relationship with him or
his company other than being a satisfied customer.

Take care.
