  1. I'm trying to locate a source of M3 nylon and brass botls, nuts and washers
    for a project.

Any ideas where I might buy them?
    Thanks,
    Bruce

    Dick Smith
    Altronics has the metal ones
Jaycar probably, tho they dont include the M3 in the online catalog.

Farnell have the best selection of anyone I know. Brass, nylon,
stainless steel and zinc plated steel (bright or passivated) are all
available in M3, in various head types.

I suspect you really want screws rather than bolts. By definition a
bolt has a section of plain shank (unthreaded) whereas a screw is
threaded all the way up, but the strict definition isn't always
applied. Farnell actually list everything as screws, irrespective of
the shank pattern -- ie some of their screws are bolts.

They're in the printed catalogue under Fasteners & Hardware -- which
is probably on their website as well.

Bullshit. Most obviously with wood screws.
    No such animal.
    Yours never is.
Only using your completely silly 'definition'

Wood screws are a completely different animal, besides which they
don't come in M3 ISO. Perhaps I shoulda said metal threads, for those
to whom it wasn't already obvious.

Even you should be able to bullshit your way out
of your predicament better than that pathetic effort.

  9. If you are in Melbourne, try S. Keable & Co - 03 9321 6400, Thomas
    Warburton - 03 9311 8722, Coventry Fasteners - 03 9428 2793, or Yellow Pages
under Fasteners! The electronics stores have very limited supplies as well
    as limited quantities.
