Number 1 postion

I took this inverter out to long ago and can't remember how the cable fits in the socket, would the contact go up or down? Does the arrow indicate number 1? Thanks

Look for a ground pin on both sides and try and match them up

The other end is on the lcd backlight and all you can see is just the connector so you can stick the cable in. Thanks

Well if any of those pins are for back light power, make sure you dont connect it the wrong way (lcd backlights often consist of several LEDs in series and thus require high voltages)

yes the arrow would normally indicate pin 1
