    Hello,

I am an extreme novice when it comes to electronics. I have a need for a low RPM gear motor that does not break the bank. I have found what seems to be a perfect fit in this product: http://www.ebay.com/itm/60mm-Diamet...740?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item484f4e775c however, I noticed that it does not include any power supply or hook ups. Can anyone let me know what kind of accessory/adaptor/attachment may be needed to hook this up to either DC or AC power (I assume DC is easier/more cost effective?).

Any and all help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Marc

This is a 220V 60Hz AC motor, it will not work on DC. The connections are screw teminals in the plastic connector on the side.

If you are a novice, I would suggest that you get someone who knows how to wire it up and make a safe container for it. Mains voltages are not for novices.
