Using an aftermarket 1250ma/h 3.6v Li-ion mobile phone battery
(typically used in Nokia 33x0 models) in a project, being charged with
a TI bq2400x charger chip which had a pin for anode type (determines
CV mode voltage of 4.1 or 4.2 volts depending on whether cell has coke
or graphite anode) No manufacturer details available for cell. Does
anyone know the anode type found in these cells ?.
Cheers

Nope.
You could always try measuring the capacity using both termination
points.
These are very good value, I bought a couple on ebay for $3 (new)
