no picture or sound

the only thing that works is the small led channel indicator.

it has 2 fuses, a 4amp(still ok) and a 1amp(blown)
Q801 str5412 (shorted)
D807 R2KY (shorted)
C429 4.7uF 160v (high esr)
C806 100uF 16v (high esr)

im not sure about the horizontal output transistor Q402 D1555
the datasheet says it has a damper diode built in.
B-C junction looks ok but B-E gives me 55ohms (both ways)

my questions are
1. is the transistor ok?
2. is there anything else i should look at on this set?

If a tv has no picture or sound, the problem lies in the power supply
circuits or the Horizontal output transistor. The Horizontal transistor
is the one that makes the High voltage for the CRT. If it is working,
there will be static when you rub your hand across the front of the tv
screen. try this on a working tv and you will see what I mean. This is
called Raster. When a tv has High voltage ,you should have a lit
screen, maybe not a picture, but at least a snowy screen. That is good.
No sound ,and no Raster seems to be power supply or deflection circuit
problems. Check Hor. Transistor first. Then power supply circuits.
