Does anyone remember Nixie tubes?
Where can I get Nixie tubes in Australia? Specifically after Hivac XN12 or
simmilar.

Yeh, I know.
That would have been back in the 1970s before it was a precious
antique. If I'd only known.
This thing used a precision steel(?) wire loop with transducers at
either end as some kind of recirculating memory, or so it appeared.
Now all I've got left is the bag of Nixie tubes.

Can't help you with Australia - but I can tell you www.distel.co.uk have
many different types available.

Perhaps one of the surplus outfits Oatley or Rockby have some lurking
(certainly not listed on either of their sites).

Also a google search will bring up many Nixie enthusiast sites, might find a
lead from one of those.
