So I opened up my iPhone (the front camera quit working, just a loose connector) but somehow in the process I nicked the battery pack...The photo is close up so it looks a little worse than in real life...Is it still safe to use?? It's not punctured, and the phone seems to work although I haven't tried charging it. And I should mention that this is a used 4s I got off ebay so there was no warranty :p

    doesn't look too bad :)

If you are really worried, just do the first charge with it in an open place where there is nothing to catch fire, if the battery pack decides to combust
my best guess is that the chances are pretty low of a bad outcome
