WES have a new CD available, cross-referencing 120,000 semis. Has anyone
seen this thing? For $139.00, it should be bloody excellent, however, I am
reluctant to shell that much cash, without viewing first.

Which one is it? One of their own?

Ask them anyway, you don't have to buy it if they said "it's the bl####
#### best thing on the planet"

**Clearly you've not tried to get an intelligent answer from WES. It's
easier to get blood from a stone. I'd rather talk to someone who actually
owns the thing.

yes. Have had that experience myself

I would have thought this to be obvious so far - but it seems that
everyone here has missed the point totally. Incredible

We didn't necessarily miss the point, but if we knew what it was the Trevor
was talking about then it may turn out we had the same CD on our shelf and
*could* actually give an opinion. And it's not impossible to get information
out of WES, but yes, it is usually more trouble than it's worth. Something
as basic as "What's the title of the CD" should be possible though.

**The rather prosaic title is: 'VRT-DISK'. $139.00. Is that any help?

Too pricey for only 120,000 semis.
Can cross-reference more than that many via the web.

I have two printed vrt databooks circa 1994. I can scan a page or two
for you if that will be of any help.

**Very kind of you Frank. We'll see if I can get any intelligence from any
owners of the CD first. Failing that, I may accept your offer.
