And they expect ppl to wear those ? It's a bit big for a watch.

  3. A watch?
Watch sales have collapsed since the mobile phones intro.

I was thinking more of RFID enabled OLED fridge magnets that tell you
when your Diet Coke is nearing its optimum temperature (if there is
such a thing), or ceilings in bedrooms that show the current star
    chart, like a planetarium

    They have ?

    You worry me sometimes !

  5. I worry me sometimes as well

Better being somewhat "eccentric" in Spain than in the UK, I'd be
dragged into court for patting a stray dog in the UK.

Had a nice cup of coffee and tapa for 70p, here, this morning, 10
minutes walk from home, (somewhat uphill)[email protected]/231076905/

BTW I like the UKs new minature Orwelliocopters. Can they issue ASBOs

They're working on it. Just don't get caught in possession of a golliwog with
intent to supply or a Lara Croft dummy or it'll be carting you off down the old
    nick time.

Not yet but they have CCTV cameras that talk to you now. "Oi ! Pickup that piece
of litter you dropped". "Don't piss there!" etc.....

  7. The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed by
menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them

    from a rather smart USian,

I saw that exact same clip, but without the sound, on the late-nite
TeeVee Nooz "techie" segment just last night.

    I guess Dick Tracy's two-way wrist TV isn't far off. ;-)
