New member here, not sure if is this in the correct forum so please move if needed. We just bought a house and I finally have a space to set up a media room. The previous owners have everything wired...I just need to buy a long awaited, much wanted/needed AV receiver so I can complete my system. On top of properly wiring the room with speaker and HDMI cables, the previous owner also ran an IR sensor/repeater. I’ve taken/attached a few photos to illustrate what I’m working with. The sensor on the wall, the hub behind the wall plate, the wire grouping behind the media cabinet and a closer photo of the end of one wire. My question is regarding the bare wires that need to be plugged into each device (receiver, cable box, etc..). It appears when he moved out the previous owner just snipped off his connections. What do I need to do in order to properly wire each of these so that I can plug them into my units? You can see he has each wire labeled but the end of each wire has obviously been cut. Thanks in advance!
