Has anyone seen this thing yet. Exactly how does it automatically arm
when you lock the door? They are very careful not to explain this in
the ads and nobody around here has seen this unit yet.

I thought this was just a gimmick to produce more revenues from the
same old stuff but maybe not.

I do like the fact that the $99. install instantly became $299.

I'd tell ya buy then I'd have to whack ya!! Probably just have the alarm
set to arm instantly once door contact is closed after setting. Unless they
are going to change the door lock but I doubt that.

SSDD - years ago we'd drill a magnet into a deadbolt latch and a mag
switch into the latch receiver. Wire the switch to a keyswitch zone for
maintained type key. Big deal.

Yup big deal was done years ago around here..
till someone got the good old front door knocked out and that the magnet
disconnected just before the door contact created the alarm

of course when the home howner came in there was anything left valuable in
the place...
