    Dear All:
I have a automotive hall effect sensor, with 4 componentes that I can't recognize:

    A3 Q2 C
    R5 08 C
    W08
    Z8W

    Z8W is possibly a 9.1V Zener diode BZX-84-C9V1

W08 is possibly a PDTC144ET or EU, a biased non transistor with 47k base resistor and 47k base to emitter resistor

The other 2, I'm not sure. There's lots of A3 and R5 devices. I would actually check that the R5 one isn't a tantalum capacitor.

In order to verify what I have suggested above, you need to check the datasheets for these devices, and see how they're used in this circuit and if it makes sense to have that component there.

    Ok Steve,

Thank you very much for your help.
I'll try to find some options to A3 and R5 devices.

Please check this site. Seems like it has large data for SMD devices.

On A3 - I found 43 different devices (most of them are diodes including fast switching and double diodes).

Similarly for R5 - about 20 devices listed. Could not find information for your W and Z devices.

    Hope this helps.

The problem is not so much that you can't find data for them, but that there are so many it doesn't really give you extra information.

Oh, and that link isn't working for me. Can you check it?

No, that just searches part numbers, not the case marking codes.

    Hmm... red line mark:

    For example, for "Z8":

    Z8 BZX84C8V2 SOT-23 0.225W 8.2V Zener Diode
    Z8 BZX84C9V1 SOT-23 330mW Zener Diode
    Z8 BZX84C9V1 SOT-23 SILICON ZENER DIODE 350mW
    Z8 BZX84C9V1-V SOT-23 Small Signal Zener Diod
    Z8 BZX84C9V1LT1 SOT-23 9.1V 225 mW Zener Voltage Regulator Diode
    Z8 SST308 SOT-23 N-Channel JFET
    Z8 BZX84-C9V1 BZX84 SOT23 0.3W zener 9.1V

so it does. However it doesn't really help with the two unidentified components.

One is likely to be a capacitor. Has it been measured?
