  1. Hello all! I'm really hoping someone out there may have this. I have a
1988 Chevrolet Suburban with the factory radio in it. It works fine
and I have no intention of replacing it but I'd sure like to install a
line input. This would be much easier if I had the schematic for the
radio. If anyone has one that could be made available I would
certainly appreciate contact to . I would be more
than willing to compensate you for your time to locate and copy/scan
    the schematic. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

You should be able to inject the analogue output from any auxilliary
equipment like a CD player into the output amp at the volume pot.

Nope, won't work, it's a D.C. volume control. The OP didn't mention whether it
has a cassette or not, it would be easy.

I got my 87 Buick without a cassette and I'm thinkink of getting one of those
FM modulators to avoid the hassle because I loathe radio.

See if this guy gets back to us, if so I'll dig through my stuff, I think I
have some copies but it'll take some digging.
