need info on alarm the DSC Classic pc1555

I just found out that i could program my alarm to ring my cell phone so i can monitor my alarm without the monitor co. what i need to know is how to answer my alarm or clear the problem code 4 after it rings my phone. any info would be nice.

I think you're out of luck, that transmits a "contact id" format code and is meant to be fed into a DSC head end monitoring station. Yes, you can get the unit to call you, but your phone won't be able to decode the data. It could be sending you a Burg, trouble or tamper, you'd never know.

Update your panel to a DSC1616 (6 Zone) or 1832 (8 Zone) and get the new (www.connect24.com/c24interactive) "C24"software for your smart phone. You won't believe what you'll be able to do with it ! It boggles the mind !
