Hi and thanks for looking. I use an old HP 1222A oscilloscope for audio
work. The last time I turned it on the trace only made it half way across
the screen. With the horizontal adjust centered it goes from the center of
the screen about halfway to either side. All the other features seem to
work although when running a sine wave through it is crowded on the sides
and more normal in the middle.
In my usual scientific way, I poked all of the buttons and knobs and nothing
changed -- both channels were the same.
If you are familiar with this problem and can offer a solution, I'd be much
obliged. If not, it looks like another trip to Ebay.
