Need help with beep circuit

I need to design a very very simple circuit that will beep once when another circuit gets a power on of about 3VDC. I've tried 555 monostable, but can get anything to work. I want it to beep once even though the input signal is still present.

I.e.

battery -> ON ->beep once->battery power still present -> don't beep.

In essence i need schematics fort a circuit that detects power on and supplies an output.
