    Hi there,

I am in the process of completing a circuit design (trying to, I'm not
an electronics technician), that has 8 sensors that are run through 8
LEDs to indicate the positions of 4 actuators.

In the circuit I have a 3 way toggle switch that is used to dim the
LEDs at night, has a DAY position (normal operation), and a momentary
    TEST position.

Because the voltage is supplied directly from the sensors to illuminate
the LEDs I'm having a tough time figuring out the TEST circuit.

I'm looking for some direction on a circuit I could use to momentarily
test that all the LEDs are working using the toggle switch?

I am trying to keep the circuit as simple as possible.

    Thanks in advance.

You need to insert diodes between the sensors and leds, and feed each
led with another inserted diode from the test switch.

That is sort of what I figured, for some reason drawing a blank when
trying to think of it. Truly appreciated.
