One important aspect of SMD identification is knowing the case outline. Also, are you saying it's an ST-Microelectronics device labeled AE, with D302 on another line?

Can you tell us what package it's in?

Sorry, that doesn't help me. I don't know of a package called SD. Examples of package include things like SO-8, SOT-23-5, TSOP-28.

If you don't know the package it's in, an image next to something for scale would help. Even knowing the number of pins would be a big help.

    Can you count?

How many leads does it have?

    Can you measure it?

what size is the black epoxy part?

Are the legs all on one side?

    Does it have a tab?

There is very little we can do is a vacuum!

OK, it's a diode. (99% chance based on the stated manufacturer(s) and package)

Unfortunately I am away from my datasheets etc right now so I can't look it up.

The ZMV833ATA seems unlikely as the closest package it comes in is a SOD-23 which is about 1.1 x 0.7 mm and it's a varicap diode which I would not expect to see on a disk drive.

I'll try to remember to look this up later (but with the information you have provided, someone may well beat me to it).

    Could it be this package?

In this package there are a number of TVS diodes rated for 5V working voltage.

Check to see if this diode is across the 5V rail. If so, it is there to absorb spikes on the 5V rail.

    Some examples are SMAJ5.0A, P4SMA6.8A, P4SMAJ5.0AC, etc.

The first of these devices in a STMicroelectronics device. See here.
